hotsnacx was a great person to purchase from. Very accommodating to my needs (needed to ship NON-USPS), very responsive, and the product was exactly as described! Wish all sellers were like this!- simontoyou

The Stax Thread III
I got it preowned around the same time and it still works well! Had to clean it out a few times but that's pretty much it. I'm really enjoying the combination and I'm not giving up on this bad boy until I'm mentally and spiritually prepared. Here's hoping it'll last another decade!- simontoyou

The Stax Thread III
Just a quick update on my PC audio buzzing: My setup includes an old Gilmore V2 Preamp which was creating the buzzing. I swapped out audio cables but that only helped a little bit. However, I tried some DeoxIT cleaner/protector and the results were incredible! I cleaned out all my old...- simontoyou

Great reviews! I was always curious about the D50 since it's a "portable" amp and I'll have to check it out some day at a meet or something. I definitely can't wait to get into the higher end cans that Stax offers. The first time I heard the Omega 2s over a decade ago, I thought, "these are the...- simontoyou

Just saying hi.
Technically, I've been a member since 2005 but I had just got my first pair of Stax (L700) and I've been excited! Listening to them right now on Stax's SRM-727II amp and they're amazing... but of course I need more! Trying to fix a current audio interference issue with my computer by replacing...- simontoyou

Sony WF-1000XM4 Impressions Thread
I got these refurbed @ Secondipity's eBay store for $119 before taxes and I can say these are absolutely incredible for their size. I have a problem where I don't want to use them because they're so nice.- simontoyou

Is it worth it to rip CD collections to FLAC anymore?
I'd test by ripping a few CDs to see if you can even tell the difference between streaming, FLAC, or VBR. I personally can't tell the difference between FLAC and VBR but some streamed songs don't cut it for me.- simontoyou

The Stax Thread III
It's been 15 years ever since I wanted a pair of Stax, and I finally made the jump! Got myself a pair of SR-L700's and an SRM-727II thanks to a classified listing here! Been enjoying them so far but I've been trying to get rid of PC audio buzzing. Trying to switch some audio cables around to...- simontoyou

Good headphone & speaker amp?
I plan to spend $500 max. I was thinking of getting a Gilmore v2. This is for a computer, btw. I plan to get a E-MU 0404 (I currently have M-audio Revo 7.1), I have a pair of HFI-650's, and I listen to all kinds of music. Any help would be much appreciated- simontoyou
