I got these refurbed @ Secondipity's eBay store for $119 before taxes and I can say these are absolutely incredible for their size. I have a problem where I don't want to use them because they're so nice.

I'd test by ripping a few CDs to see if you can even tell the difference between streaming, FLAC, or VBR. I personally can't tell the difference between FLAC and VBR but some streamed songs don't cut it for me.
