I wear glasses and my KSC50's fit me fine. The fit probably depends on the shape of your ears. I also have the HD497's and they're circumaural for me. My ears fit fine within the earpads.

Not specific to the META 42, but the lighted switches I've used on other things have had separate connections for the switch part and the LED. Therefore, you should be able to just connect the switch and LED leads to the respective spots on the META 42 board.

I'd figure the Sony D-E666 would probably sound bad, but it was more of a comment about the model number. 666, from the Book of Revelation in the Bible, "sign of the beast" or Satan, hence the Is it any surprise there hasn't been any mention of this model in any western countries?

Besides a portable stereo system with a line-in, what about your computer? Does it have an audio line-in jack? Connect the audio out from the DVD player to the computer's line-in. Make sure the line-in isn't muted on the computer. Plug in your headphones into the computer and enjoy.

You're right, the MZ-N505 doesn't come with the digital cable, but don't go by Sony's usual inflated accessory prices. You can buy an optical to miniplug digital cable at Minidisco for $11.

dcg is right, it's about 4 ft. normally. The pamphlet that comes with them says the cord will extend to 3 meters or about 10 ft.

You sure about that Eagle_Driver? My MZ-S1 is basically the same as the MZ-N505 and it does have a line-in (analog/digital) along with the USB connection. Even Sony's online specs for the MZ-N505 says it has a digital line-in.

Isn't that the same thing as the Rio Volt SP250 except in silver?? Sure looks like it.
