I do have the ultra-OG Mimby (with v1 firmware), but hopefully the MM2+ gets here in time before I sell the old set away. Hopefully others can chime in on comparisons.

Another thing that I noticed.. I realised that the 900 does not playback WMA format, whereas the 800 does. What are the differences between 800 and 900? Design and functionality wise, I think 800's better... Any comments on this?

This is totally absurd... We are tending to go forward in terms of technology and playback (by going for laser playback technologies...) But in this case, they are going backwards (in a sense that they go back to the good old' days.... to the vinyl style, but with a twist.
