What could replace my old sennheiser px-100?
I had koss porta pro before I got the px-100, but they had to much bass for my taste. And I kept getting my hair stuck in it :D If I raise the pricebar to 100-120$, does the picture change dramatically?- vifteovn

What could replace my old sennheiser px-100?
Hi, its x-mas soon and my px-100 are five years old and starting malfunction. So I thought maybe I could ask Santa for some new ones. I wanted to replace the cables on my old ones, but I got nowhere with Sennheiser, they said it was less expensive just to buy new ones, and ebay does not seem to...- vifteovn

Noice disturbance on high volume with av-710
No, it comes with MP3's and other CD's too. Example: Alanis Morissette - Uninvite the first 30 seconds wenn she pushes her voice the noice cranks, I know that the senn hd595 would give more on a regular steroreciver, at least I hope- vifteovn

Jepp, i get noice disturbance, or disturbance :P wenn I play with volume maxed out. Which I have too do sometimes. My question is as follows, is this because I don't own a amp? The chaintech av-710 kicks ass!
Just had to write something about that soundcard. It has placed my old soundcard, Hercules muse xl deep down in the closet. Really, the av-710 sound like one million dollar speakers VS intigrated computer speakers. I am happy that i switched, that is thanks to head-fi And foobar sounds...- vifteovn

n00b needs buying advice (HD555, HD595)
I've not been here so long. But as they told me here, a hd595 is overkill for a computersystem without a good soundcard and an amp. You will be able to drive them, they are "only" 50Ω. By that I mean both of them. From other stuff I read they are not worth the doubble, but I might be wrong :P- vifteovn

Is senn hd595 a smart choice for computerusage?
The Senn HD595 are only 50Ω. They sad that normal mp3players would be sufficent to drive them. I got money for the damaged sony, fullprice. But did not recive money for the carpet or table which i had to clean by myself :P- vifteovn

Is senn hd595 a smart choice for computerusage?
The topice says it all. I think I am going to buy a pair Senn hd595 for 200$ in Norway, because my old ones got peed on . Next time I get drunk people for an wisit I will lock my headsett inside a safe. So they are going to be used on a computer where i listen to "gaming", movies, rock too...- vifteovn
