Hi,   has the converter section to be master or slave or how does it switch?

I had newest top models of ADAM for a while and they were not affected by the volume level at all. Besides the X-ART tweeter is something really special. You have to make some room treatment. For your purpose and a small room Geithain RL906 are the best but they are expensive.

I did lose details and clarity with a tube amp compared to the phone jack of a decent sound card or pro audio interface.

Hi, can you bypass the volume control of the BHSE? I think it's better than even Alps RK50. Or are there disadvantages? I'm using my RME Fireface 400 only for the volume control. I've never touched my Stax SRM-727 since there is a switch inside to turn the level control off.
