Neko D100 : Initial impression
Considering the quality of his test conditions, I'd like to hear about a comparison in lossless files. It won't replicate my listening conditions, but for the sake of curiosity...- matt fury

The Stax thread (New)
It's all ancient, esoteric tubes, mercury vapor psu, etc. From what I understand it's not for sale, but I did keep hearing something about $15k... Probably worth it. Definitely the best thing I've ever heard.- matt fury

Great Electronica (give me suggestions!)
Kraftwerk is pretty much my favorite. The album Trans-Europe Express is pretty much an alltime classic, and then you have the Man-Machine, etc etc. I'm the operator of my pocket calculator. -
E-MU 0404 USB no longer on sale (mid-March '08)
The 0404's price has fluctuated for as long as I've had one (last year). It's been up and down between $150 & $200 a lot, so I'm not sure if this is anything permanent. I probably would've picked up another though if I had seen it with the free mic.- matt fury

Vegas Mini-Meet?
So I met another local today, Sketchr and we got to chattin' about how awesome it would be if we could get a little meet together somewhere in Vegas. We know that there are a least a few other Las Vegans hanging around here, so how 'bout it, boys? Can we lure you out of hiding?- matt fury

Suggest a DAC to accompany SOHA & HD-580
Hiya, So you guys have me totally sold on how important a good source is any setup. Now if I only knew what DAC to get! I'm using a Macbook, SOHA, & HD580s (mostly). USB isn't very important, and I would like to spend ~$100, but I could reach up to $200 if it would make a significant...- matt fury
