REVIEW - COLORFLY C3
@stozzer123, you also had the c30 right? i have a nationite n2 and would like to ask if its a step above these the n2s and the c30s? and you played on a 35/40 volume scale? so i reckon the amps on these c3's aint that powerful like the c30s and the n2s? and have you tried playing this straight...- lestercabs

Time for a new DAP, unsure what to buy, Cowon, Sony, Colorfly
Add a hisound studio v to your list. Its an be-all end-all dap for me. If you're not into playing videos and just into pure audio, then the studio v fits your bill. it;ll sound good specially with those multi armature setups like yours. Take my advice with a grain of rice of course. YMMV- lestercabs

Headphones too sensitive for Hisound DAPs?
Theres someone who reviewed the studio show switched firmwares and indeed encourages to try out firmwares. I believe the reviewer had problems on hiss as well, the BA FW as per reviewer solved the hiss, but lowered volume a bit. about 4 steps iirc. But yeah, ask jack on that anyways- lestercabs

Headphones too sensitive for Hisound DAPs?
Just get the hisound studio v and switch firmwares. (get the BA firmware) and get the best of both worlds. or purchase an adapter that would take out hiss as well. I own a nationite n2 and hear a hiss but its not too disturbing for me. YMMV.- lestercabs

Review: HiSoundAudio Studio V - "The Audiophile Brick"
Im sold. I had this player once when we had a loaning program. I did appreciate the sound quality before, more so now (knowing nothing about audio when i loaned it). One question though, that battery life test that you did. was that all playing songs (flac) FROM your memory card? if that 45 hour...- lestercabs

Cowon C2 volume seems low
Hey ccw71, are you still having problems with your c2 re: power / loudness? you sure it ain't the EU cap that's bringing it down? reason being is this is really whats keeping me from purchasing a c2. If this is one of those ISO cases then i think its fine then. Did you try contacting cowon to...- lestercabs

Having a problem with my J3, it wont play an album I have in .flac
Try Ripping your files using db power amp. And 1 more thing, j3 doesn't play 24/96 file. Check your file bit. Try ripping them with a less than level 8 flac type. You should be good to go- lestercabs
