I have similar problem.   My valab dac suddenly dead no sound coming out   Even though when I turn on the light still on   Tried to contact KEVIN from VALAB but no response.    Dunno if he still around or maybe he did not want to do any repair

My Valab DAC suddenly "dead"   When I powered on the light still on but no sound at all    I did replace the TDA1543 all of them and still dead   I tried to EMAIL KEVIN from VALAB whether I can send when I am in taiwan for repair but He did not reply   Any one can help?   tks

Finally, I started my mods Took off the IC firs for precaution then remove all the tantalum capacitor and Coupling capacitor Already install replacement for tantalum capacitor But still trying figure out the coupling capacitor
