    Upgrading from HD477's - Alessandro MS1's?

Hi! I'm thinking about returning my HD477's to the store because they lack the punch I was looking for. I like its clear and neutral sound but it definitely lack the bass I'm looking for (in fact having good bass in my first priority). Will Alessandro MS1's solve the problem or should I...

    Just bought some HD477s

I've decided to let them "break in" last night and I've tried them on a better amp this morning... Wow!!! I gotta say that I'm pretty impressed. My old Sony s are only good for garbage now. The only thing that I don't like about the 477s is that they're very, very opened... Which closed model...

    Just bought some HD477s

Any more input? BTW, how do we take the ears apart on those things? According to my understanding, the 477s are modular?

    HD437 vs HD433 vs HD457?

One more question... All these models don't seem to have any hole for the hears. How can it actually sound good? I mean... I had some cheap Sony's MDR-V150 before (closed design), I don't want my Sony's to sound better than more expensive Senns.

    HD437 vs HD433 vs HD457?

Hi! HD437, HD433, HD457... I'm pretty confused with all these models. I'm a bass guy who also appreciates good mid-high ranges... But my priority is a good and powerful low bass that won't distort. Which one is the best for me?
