Fiio E7 vs Asus Xonar DX
For recording I'll be using a Zoom H4n, so that's got me covered (and brings me back to square one). So in the end, the only real difference between them, apart from the slightly different sound signatures, is the bit depth of the output?- papernicolas

Fiio E7 vs Asus Xonar DX
There will probably be some gaming, but I'll mostly use it for music. They're both about the same price, so SQ is the only thing that I care about. I'm not too interested in the amp section of the E7.- papernicolas

E7 + Speakers?
I plan on buying a Fiio E7 sometime next month. I have this set of speakers in my computer's desk: I already have a dedicated amp (the brand is Sansui) for these, but I was wondering if there would be any harm in using one of the E7 output's and plugging it into the sansui amp, to get...- papernicolas

I need headphones for general listening (alternative rock and indie, pop/rock, folk, some classical stuff and a bit of jazz) and monitoring (mostly acoustic and electric guitar, piano and vocals). My budget is 200 dollars, tops. I've read that ATH-M50 or SRH-840's are safe bets but...- papernicolas
