Home-Made IEMs
I was thinking about making a 12 driver iem, but I’m not sure which of the drivers to use. I was thinking about using the Knowles FH series. I’m not sure if the RAB series is better. I’m looking for experience. Thanks!- flynhawaiian

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
I guess no one will ever be happy. I guess I just see it as a fairness issue. I wouldn't have had a problem if they upgraded them to the u8 which was the natural choice. But when they choose such a high price point to upgrade people too it really bothered me. I felt the natural thing would...- flynhawaiian

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
Apparently they say it's going to be the same as the a12. this should have been a free / low cost upgrade for the people who ordered the u8. I'm really sad at how they have handled this. *pouts like a little kid* it's just not fair the other people get a 1599 product for 500 and we will have to...- flynhawaiian

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!
So filling in the hole will have absolutely no effect on the sound then? Can a mini-xlr panel mount jack be installed at the bottom of each side, while not effecting the sound or is it best to just solder right into the driver? I’m guessing mic cable is still the best option to each phone? ...- flynhawaiian

I’m still confused on something using the stock cups. Can we recable the drivers, so each driver has an independent cable coming out of the cup? Basically omitting any stock wiring in the headphones. If so, can the 3.5mm jack be removed, and if so what should it be filed in with? I...- flynhawaiian
