Thinking about buying this receiver, would it work well for headphone listening? I plan on buying a headphone amp when I buy some high impedance headphones, but for now would this receiver do well with my 24 ohm impedance 106 dB/mW headphones?

Maybe a stereo amplifier could work?

How about something like an E7? DAC vs new sound card, which one will bring me better sound quality?

I want to buy a desktop tube amp, like a little dot or something like that. I just heard that since it has such a low resistance the amp would degrade the quality of the sound.

Sensitivity: 106 dB/mW listening through on board card It'd be nice if the headphones were a LITTLE louder. I heard that an amp might degrade sound quality. Thank you for all the help

Ok, i think you're going a little fast for my beginner audio mind, I have a pair of sony mdr-zx700 headphones that I use to listen to music on my computer and my turntable. they're rated at 24 ohms of resistance, would they benefit from a desktop amplifier? 

I just bought an audio technica AT-LP120, I don't own a pair of IEM's the sony's are full sized headphones with a 24 ohm rating

Will I get any benefit from an amp if I have low impedance headphones? and if so what are some great amps for low impedance headphones. I want to push my sony zx700's. Would I just be better of buying better headphones?
