Sony MDR-Z7M2 Headphone Thread
So do you currently own a Z1R and are thinking about getting the Z7M2 also? I had the Z1R for about 20 days and loved it. Am saving up for one but now this Z7M2 is interesting due to the lower price. The Z1R's did get warm after a few hours, nothing new with closed cans, but I am wondering if...- taylon

Sony NW-ZX300
I was going to ask which cables to use but I believe you answered my question below: If I wanted to use the ZX300 as a source for a TA-ZH1ES or a PHA-3 Amp I would need the Sony cable WMC-NWH10, or the Sony Walkman cradle BCR-NWH10?- taylon

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
I have heard the same about the Cayin I5 and in the forum for that player there are many people talking about selling theirs. I do like that there are still firmware releases for a year old player, with the recent price drop and the feedback here I will make this my next player. Thank you!- taylon

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
Is everyone that owns the Opus #1 still enjoying it? Reading through the thread it seems generally positive reviews with the updated firmware aside from that 10 second bug. I am looking to replace a Ak Jr. I was looking at the Opus #3 but its a little out of my price range and I am not really...- taylon

LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Hello all, My UE TripleFi 10's fell apart last year and I have been using a old pair of Atrio Future Sonic's as a "replacement". I really do not use IEM all the time and not wanting to drop the $ I did on the UE's but something that is a good value lead me to these LZ-A4's. Searching through...- taylon

iDSD micro Black Label. Tour details (page 147). Release info (page 153).
Is the main reason you went with the Micro iDSD Black Label over another Mojo was all the features the IDSD has? Or is the sound better or the same compared to the Mojo? I am considering both these amps for a portable setup. Most reviews I have read say they have different sounds signatures but...- taylon

Cayin i5 Lossless Android DAP with AKM4490 DAC supporting 32/384 PCM + 64/128 DSD
What features are you looking for? Is there anything specific you looking for. we need more details. If you are just after sound, Cayin N5 or N3 is good. N3 is much smaller than both her sisters but she retains most or like 90-95% of their sound signature. Both N5 and N3 lack android. But N3...- taylon

Cayin i5 Lossless Android DAP with AKM4490 DAC supporting 32/384 PCM + 64/128 DSD
Hello all. Reading through this thread it seems the I5 is no longer recommended due to lack of updates. I recently sold my AK Jr for basically the same reason. Initially the ability to replace the battery is what interested me to research. Is there another player in the same price range that is...- taylon

If you want something portable I just got a xDuoo XD-05. Its under $200 and a nice little headphone amp. If you use digital inputs it has some nice filters that change the way music sounds.- taylon

Astell & Kern Junior (AK Jr.) Impressions Thread
Anyone else having weird Bluetooth playback on this unit? Bluetooth songs stops playing randomly. After it stops, any song I try to play does not play at all, the counter for the time of the song is always at 0:00. This is even when using a corded headphone. The only way to get music to play...- taylon
