How Many Are Still Using 1st Gen. Shuffles?
I used to have one for the gym. However the battery died and I'm not sure its worth the cost to get it repaired. Probably will just pick up a new Sansa Clip.- Whiplasher

5G ipod arrived today-first thoughts
The time to rip depends on the quality of the rip that you need. I use nero recode and dvd dvcrypter and i think the time is decent for music videos and tv shows. I too ripped from Black adder goes forth and took me 30 minutes to get the rip.- Whiplasher

Shure E5C vs UM2
Hi, I am looking to upgrade from my Etymotic Er6i. I love the detailed sound but i found that the bass was lacking. I am using them with my Ipod photo 20gig. I was set on getting the shure E5c but when i read these forums lately everyone seems to prefer the UM2 as the better dual driver...- Whiplasher

best warranty, other warranties...
My friend got a shuffle for 99.99 + 30 extra. The 30 extra buys you one year extra warranty and during that time u can return the shuffle and use the 99.99 to buy a new dap.- Whiplasher

6i owners/listeners: is the bass enough for you? without amp (vote now!)
The bass is insufficent for R&B and hip hop tracks. The er6i lacks the punch that these type of songs need. But for most other type of songs they are great.- Whiplasher
