Time to get some sennheiser  HD 650's and fiio e7+e9 combo amp. I had some HD 555's awhile back and they could pump real loud on my computer with just an e5 with good sound so I'm just getting this off of impulse. Heh, I may be an idiot for doing this.

So I've got some ultrasone dj1 pros with a cheap e5 amp. They are crackling when I wanna get bass heavy. I never liked how sometimes they would seem quiet for some reason either. So I was thinking of getting the sony xb 1000s with the fiio e9+e7 combo. My favorite bass is when it shakes...

I plug them in, Immediately weird sound and I have to twist the cable just to GET sound. ummm..? :/ Edit: Now I see, the connector that screws in is a bit weird and is almost never a normal fit, but when it does it sounds like headphones should sound now.
