Took me a few days but I decided not to upgrade.  I think if it had been $300 I'd have talked myself into it but luckily it was just slightly too high for me to convince myself it made sense.  I feel like they did me a favor, as my U8's will sound great and I really don't need U12's. :)

  As a U8 backer, I think this was a classy way for 1964 Ears to handle it.  It must have been incredibly frustrating to have their hands tied by Legal and be unable to give an update.  I'm a little jealous of the Ambient 12 backers right now!

I tried really, really, hard to stick to the U8 option.  Except I didn't, and I just changed it to A12.  I've never had CIEMs, the only decent IEMs I ever had were my Westone 4's!  I hope I'm not making a terrible mistake because I'm stuck with them if I am.

I wish it wasn't; I "accidentally" ended up backing the U-8s and will try my hardest not to "accidentally" increase that until I end up at the A10's that I want so badly.  My wife would kill me.

I want to thank you guys!  I lost my Westone 4's (I was SO upset) and I couldn't realistically afford to drop $450 on another pair and then along comes the Triple.fi deal just when I needed it most!

I just put them down to put on my jacket and return them to the jacket pocket and then somehow spaced out completely and grabbed my bag and hopped off the train.  I feel so stupid, I normally never dare put them down for fear that.. I'll lose them. :(
