VZR Model One
Ordered myself a pair. Any suggestions on a dac/amp that's good pair for these and can switch between PC/PS5. I hear that when connected to a console the mic isn't the best.- SladeNoctis

Looking into this setup but looks like tc28i is sold out everywhere or only available at spots with a give or take 2 month wait.- SladeNoctis

Honestly besides maybe the battery life and connection strength, everything else can be fixed by software for the Pi7. The only issue is holding out hope to see if B&W would add functionality and improvements to its app.- SladeNoctis

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
Quote: Yea you are, but i mean since e17 is still taking the sound output of your laptop and desktop and improving upon it. Its like adding whip cream on two pies. One pie is baked better than the other pie so even with whip cream improving the taste. The pie that was baked better will...- SladeNoctis

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
Quote: It could be that your desktop has a good DAC compared to your laptop. Correct me if im wrong (haven't been on the forums for a while ) but even with the E17 it all depends on the sound card of you laptop and PC and what the E17 can improve on top of it.- SladeNoctis

EX1000 or IE8, can't decide.
Quote: I guess i'll wait for the XBA-1ip go on sale or ill wait for the waterproof variant. Well the only issues i heard so far of the EX1000 are those who have the EX600 cable with it. The EX1000 sold outside of the US has the RK- EX1000LP and the RK-EX1000SP cables while the US...- SladeNoctis

EX1000 or IE8, can't decide.
Quote: Hmm so would the XBA-1 are in the same level as the EX600? I'm asking because i would love to have my EX1000 for my listening at my soundboard/setup/ possibly casual walking while having another IEM that have a similar sound but of course not in same quality as the EX1000 for my...- SladeNoctis

EX1000 or IE8, can't decide.
Quote: I'm about to receive the ex1000 from a former headfier, i was wondering whats your personal experience with the ex1000 and the xba-1 since all the impressions I've read that the xba-1 are actually more better in sound compared to the xba-4 due to the sound being more neutral.- SladeNoctis

crossfade lp2 for $140 on ebay?
The LP2 listing were actually the LP. He had to remove them since he didn't know. As for them sounding horrible, it sounds like you heard the LP(1) not the LP2. I have both and personally this is what i think the LP2 are fun sounding headphones compared to the precise balance of the m80. But...- SladeNoctis
