Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Perhaps a drop of silicone lubricant would help. Don't spray it. Just add a drop from the end of a toothpick. Good luck!- jdg711

The angled Brainwavz might be a tad small for the M1060. Let us know if you try them!- jdg711

*Official Schiit Magni/Modi 2 ( Uber ) Thread*
Thanks. The sound difference is likely due to the DACs, not so much the amps. The lower power of the Grace is more than enough for the HD800s. I live in the boonies, so I'll not likely get the chance to audition the Grace. :-)- jdg711

Also, the Grace produces much less power than either the Magni 2 or Magni 2 Uber. IMHO it is not worth $700.- jdg711

*Official Schiit Magni/Modi 2 ( Uber ) Thread*
The Magni 2 Uber is considerably more powerful than the Magni 2. If your headphones benefit from more power, then the choice is easy. You can check the specs of both here: http://schiit.com/products/magni-2- jdg711

Fostex new RP headphones - T50RPmk3, T40RPmk3 and T20RPmk3
Note that the Brainwavz Angled Pads are available in both velour and pleather. I don't know what effects the pleather pads create, but I am pleased with the smooth response that I get with the velour. No lack of bass from my perspective and no excessive sibilance.- jdg711

Fostex new RP headphones - T50RPmk3, T40RPmk3 and T20RPmk3
I found that the Brainwavz Velour Angled Memory Foam Pads work very well, and are very comfortable. It is a tight stretch, but they look custom once they are installed. I got mine from Amazon for $25/pair.- jdg711

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)
Let's see... $149 + $349 = $498. Then $498/$40 = 12.45. So, yes, they sound 12.45 times better compared to the OEM cable. Right?!!!- jdg711

Headphone Results With The Pono (or other DAPs)
I am finding that my Pono and Philips Fidelio X2s are a lovely match. I am just running single ended at present. My usual volume setting runs 50-75%. (NOTE: For me, the X2's needed a LOT of burn-in before they began to sound well balanced. I'd recommend 50-100 hours. Straight out of the box...- jdg711

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
"We can seem more than a little nutty." Like when naming your company Schitt, making frequent sh_t puns, and giving your products names that become more and more unpronounceable as they simultaneously become more and more expensive? Just kidding, but you know what I mean. LOL- jdg711

ZMF x Vibro & ZMF Blackwood Discussion Thread.
My thoughts on the Blackwood after listening to it for two weeks: I've done quite a lot of listening now, and I'd say that, for me, the Blackwood is BETTER than the Vibro in EVERY way! I am happily surprised! Let me count the ways: 1.) Extended highs, but not overly bright. 2,)...- jdg711

Koss KSC75 repair help
Koss charges $9 per headphone set repaired for "shipping and handling." Also, you will spend about $4-5 to send the headphones to Koss in the first place. Currently, Amazon offers new sets for $14.88 with free shipping. A few months ago, I bought some from Amazon for $9.99 with free...- jdg711
