Quick Impression: Sony MDR-7550
As pointed out, these IEM's are ******* awesome! I find them far better then my GR07's as the soundstage is just so much better. The bass is also really great.- owais

These headphones are far better then the GR07's. Had a few months to get use to them and compared them today. The soundstage of these is so much better it's kind of funny. They also seem more balanced.- owais

Best bass orientated IEM's around $200-300
Sounds good? They are the best IEM's I've heard. Quite a bit better then my GR07 as well. The only time i don't like their sound is when a track has a lot of highs, which can be harsh. This song for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP8na6tu2Lk The best thing by far is the...- owais

Soundstage is ******* awesome. You mention the increase bass (massive increase btw) but it makes the sound a little more muffled and completely ****s on the soundstage. The level is bass is kind of distracting from everything else when the vents are covered. One issue i have is the...- owais

Nope, the seal is better then any of my other earphones, including the GR07. I think it's just that the 7550 has less bass then the GR07 BE. The quality of bass is higher though. Overall, the 7550 sounds better too. Why is it that if i cover the air hole on the outside of each ear with...- owais

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Have you heard the Sony MDR7550? and the XBA-H3? If so, how do you reckon they compare to the EX1000. Also, how would you rate the quality/quantity of bass on the 7550/EX1000 compared to the GR07BE?- owais

Has anyone listened to the GR07/GR07BE and the MDR7550's? I don't need excessive levels of bass but i would really like the 7550 i ordered to have at least the same level of bass as my GR07 BE. Is that wishful thinking?- owais

Best bass orientated IEM's around $200-300
Everyone seems to have recommended the EX1000 which is meant to be similar in many ways to the 7550? including bass? Also, it doesn't have to be super strong bass, just at the same or a greater level then the GR07BE. I found a decent import deal on the FX700. How do they compare to...- owais

Are there no fakes that have been made of the FX700? I don't usually trust eBay. Otherwise it's $320 from : http://www.shoppinginjapan.net/ha-fx700?setCurrencyId=6 and $370 from http://www.seyo-shop.com/product.php?productid=500612809&cat=0&page=1- owais

Had the GR07 BE. Great sounding headphone but 'slightly' lacking in the amount of bass i'd like. Would have bought a new pair once my old ones broke but they aren't really that handy on the go as they look funny and my wire kept slipping from around my ear.- owais

Vsonic GR07 MK2 or GR07 Bass Edition?
Having owned both, i would say the BE sounded slightly better and had a marginally extra amount of bass output. I'm no audiophile though :P The BE looks worse though with it;s candy-like looking cable which is more rigid.- owais

There are JVC HA-FX700's on ebay for around $250. Does anyone make fakes of the FX700's? Wouldn't mind paying that considering the $-£ exchange rate is fairly good at the moment.- owais

Bass orientated portable headphones for up to £200
As the title says, what are the best basehead portable headphones for up to £200 (high 200 dollar wise) in your opinion? I've had a look at the M100 so far but they look a bit strange.- owais
