    JVC harx700 - a poor mans ath-a900!!

Can anyone comment on the RX700s compared to the e2c's? I'm trying to figure out if It'd be a step down from my recently broken Shure's. I'm assuming the isolation won't be as great just based on the fact that the JVCs are closed cans vs. the IEM Shures.

    Can't decide what to get!

Hello, I'm shopping for a pair of headphones for my sister and I'm stuck. It would be for use with an iPod (main), computer (second) so it seems some portability. I was thinking closed cans that don't require an amp with a budget between $100-140 shipped. She's no audiophile; listens to...

Hey everyone, I need suggestions for an Mp3 player designed for use during workouts. It doesn't need any special features, just play enough music to get me through a workout. Here's some rough criteria, hopefully it's not too much to ask. inexpensive good sound quality So far I'm thinking...

$200 mp3 player (convince me otherwise?)

Well what are the pros and cons of flash based players vs. the hdd ones? From what I can tell it's just larger hdd's more apt to skip (hdd) instead of flash based ones, less likely to, although with smaller storage space?

$200 mp3 player (convince me otherwise?)

My shures have gotten bored with my skipping cd player, so it's time for me to finally get something newer. I'm looking for an mp3 player that I'd be able to use while I'm out and about, aswell as when I'm working out. I've been told only flash-based players offer that, are there other...

    Current e2c deals?

The title is pretty self-explanitory, but I'll say it again. I'm looking for a reputable place to get some e2c's from that would hopefully arrive at my place in about a week max. I'm considering newegg ($85 shipped) as my last resort for speedly delivery AND price, because I need these by next...

    Closed headphones for under $140?

Cool, thanks jink. I'm just glad I'm not the only guy who's ever been paranoid about getting something new online. I'm still scared I may not notice a difference between the new phones and what I'm using now or something silly like that, but the more and more I read about these the less worried...

    Closed headphones for under $140?

How's the MS-1 compare to the A500 if open or closed wouldn't matter? Also, by portable I mean just being able to wear em as a passenger in a car etc.

    Closed headphones for under $140?

Hi. Someone over at another board suggested I come here for insight from you guys about getting my first pair of "decent" headphones. I've read a few threads here and there around these forums, and have done some off and on research for about a month now. I didn't want to hijack the "Need some...
