On a related note to this, I recently purchased the KRK RP5's to replace my logitech z5500's... Now im sadly missing the warm bass the sub on the z5500's produced... Im trying to decide between:   1) Swapping the RP5's for the RP8's 2) Keeping the RP5's and going for the 10s sub instead...

Update:  I ended up getting the Lexicon u22 because it was randomly on sale and it appears to do the trick just perfectly.  Also, I picked up the KRK Rokit 5 G2... This is something I'm regretting a bit so I may be taking them back to pick up the 8's instead (they weren't in stock at the time)...

Price wise, what alternatives are there to the KRK Rokit 8 G2's? They seem do have a dedicated following, although I'm not too found of the yellow cone, demands too much attention imo
