Things sell by their value and quality. If it so happened to be that Audez'e brought the headphones to the market a bit low and realized that people would by them at a higher price then they can raise the price....if people aren't then the headphones won't sell. It doesn't matter what people...

Ya i'll pass on these and happily use my lcd-2's. My main application is portable with my jh-13's so I cannot even justify doubling the cost of my lesser used can

Ya I have a v1 twag for my jh-13's so I'll probably just send that to be re-terminated....but first they have to go to jh for repair because something seems to have gone wrong on my right side out of no where....I may have them refitted and have the bores extended a little bit while I am at it...

Ya it's hard for me to say...I am just going off of what I've seen others say in here. I have my lcd-2 with the TWag v2 terminated into the rsa balanced here....planning on ordering my 71b this week hopefully

So just having paid for a pair of used lcd-2's from a friend I need a dac/amp to go along with them....I want something I can easily move since these cans will be traveling to work/home a lot....after looking around I thought a good rig would be an ibasso d12 dac out to the sr-71b for the amping...
