Flawless albums
Rush 2112 -A passage to Bangkok is the weakest song here Van Morrison Moondance - Perfect -
Review by 'Dobber' on item 'Beyerdynamic Tesla DT 1350'
Not much to say about these that hasn't been said. They really shine with an amp though. They sound very nice out of the Magni2, But to my ears they have more presence and just sound slightly better from my old Shellbrook Super Mini Moy. Comfort is acceptable. Isolation is amazing, I've used...- Dobber

Great Rock Albums!
I definitely agree on the Wall, and dsom. Moving Pictures is also awesome. I am just coming to this thread and have not read all posts, so if someone already mentioned these I apologize. Rush - 2112 I love this album, the weakest song to me is A Passage to Bangkok. And it still is a great... -

Amazing Audioengine D3 ...
Thanks for the reply. Yes it looks very handy. I did some research and found the Topping TP-D1 MKII MK2 for $70 and is supposed to work with the HTC One. I went ahead and ordered it, And if I find I like the sound quality but it's too bulky I will probably try the D3. Hoping I will be able to...- Dobber

Amazing Audioengine D3 ...
Your photo really caught my eye. I have been thinking of getting a DAC/AMP to pull a digital signal from my HTC one for use while traveling. Been researching JDS labs C5D & leckerton's offerings. Still think I will go with one of the traditional DAC/AMPs, But am curious how the D3 is working for...- Dobber

Help deciding on a Portable Speaker
Check BestBuy they were selling UE Boombox[big one] for $99. The bass is a little boomy, but otherwise it is a nice full sounding speaker. you can always eq the bass down a touch. it has aux in, And the bluetooth works great can pair with several devices simultaneously for rapid switching... -
Nokai Lumia 900
i am really enjoying the phone as well. I'm coming from an iphone 3gs and getting an immediate response to user inputs is definitely much better with the nokia. Sound quality with warmer sounding cans(portapro, AKG K518) is acceptable.- Dobber

Nokai Lumia 900
I'm gonna backtrack a little on my previous post. I listened again to Some higher quality tracks I synced from Itunes. The sound was better on highs and mids than before, still weak on bass. i was listening to rdio before so that may be the problem. The sound reminds me of the Zune HD. I was...- Dobber

Sony MZ-EH1 *Gallery* - Mr. Minidisc
Not surprising, been a long time since I noticed any in the stores here. I made the mistake of letting my kid use the 505 after i got a newer MD. Now I can't find the newer one.- Dobber

Sony MZ-EH1 *Gallery* - Mr. Minidisc
Can you still get blanks? I dug out my box of MDs the other day but the only player i could find was my old Sony 505 with a cracked display. The sound was much thicker than I recalled, but i had no way to access the menu to see what bass boost or eq setting it was on.- Dobber

LOD for Zune HD
I would think connecting pins 1-3 to ground would cause a short circuit & be very bad for your zune. Are pins 1-3 5v out of zune or where zune expects to get 5v from usb? If anything the trigger pins should have power applied to them, but if it were this simple someone would have tried by now? I...- Dobber

I last replaced the pads ten years ago, so not sure if the shack can still order them. I am guessing they can. But I will probably try to order direct from koss. I listened to them for awhile yesterday and I do enjoy their sound. Probably most like my Porta-Pro but more recessed. I thought I...- Dobber

My very simple setup. I'm pulling an optical signal out of the mac and into the D3, then feeding it in to an old Shellbrook Labs SMM. I have rigged the amp to a wall wart for power. I feed the Yamaha int. amp off usb with a turtle beach micro2? I bought the Realistic Pro60 in 1985 these were the...- Dobber

Difference between PORTAPRO vs. SPORTAPRO???
The head band on the sports folds down to convert to Behind the head. And the sport has a mute button inline. I feel the sports are a touch muddier sounding, but still sound very good to my ears.- Dobber

windows phone 7 connector & Zune HD
Stumbled upon this over at Anythingbutipod, Sorry if this has already been discussed. http://anythingbutipod.com/2011/01/how-to-sync-a-zune-hd-with-mac-os-x/ Looks like the ZuneHD support was built into the Connector software all along, Just disabled to protect us from ourselves. Using it...- Dobber
