Hi, If You use the sine wave ports output from the OCK2, it will work fine with the 75 Ohm cable. Square wave is more intolerant to impedance miss match, then You need a 50 Ohm BNC cable. Best alternative is for You to buy 50 Ohm BNC cables. /Jan

Not true. Audio-gd DI20HE/DI20 and Gustard U16 and U18 are examples that have and benefit very well using their EXT XO inputs. I am pretty sure there are more of them out there. /Jan

I am feeding both the U18 and the R26 with clock pulse. This because the master clock then affects all inputs. If You only feed the U18 with clock pulse You only have the Master Clock benefit on I2s (HDMI) input on the R26. /Jan

Hi, I own and use the U18 with the R26, using the LHY OCK-2. I find them a good team. The R26 is a little bit "round" in itself and the U18 fed with the OCK-2 Master clock shapen up the whole sound image. I strongly advice You go with the OCK-2 here. With the OCK-1 I think the sound should be...

Hi all, This is the Master Clock thread as You all well know. I now feed most of my digital stuff with my Mutec REF10 SE120. I have a bunch of dac's both from Audio-gd & Gustard and also a few of other brands. I have been buying and testing and selling alot of them. I think both Audio-gd...

How sweet of You to think of us... at all really. All the problems in the world including wars and conflicts in general are all about the amount harmonic distorsions. The Russian aggression on the Ukranian country and its people is of course a matter of this. Wow. But I didn't hadn't relapsed...

Not needed. You have produced more than enough "Alternative facts" on Your own to be validated on by the moderators. I may be thrown out myself but I will take that risk Have a nice evening. /Jan

@moderators Please block the @camrector profile (maybe also later the @gregorio profile ..) He/she/the camrector profile is trolling and spamming this otherwise, very useful and helpful thread. The profile is spreading "alternative facts" far from real facts. Very pollutive and toxic...

No, no no! It was a clear matter of the amount of harmonic distortion in the both compared vehicles. With a US$8 NP-device the utility truck had probably been much faster than the sports car. Sorry for using Your logic, but I couldn't resist /J

Oh, I think both of You (@camrector & @gregorio) should register on Whatsbest forum and sell these sensational facts to them. I am sure none of the members there knows about this.. Best of luck. Please, keep away from this thread though /J

You are very right. I have a bunch of networkplayers that are using ports 1-4, So a noise contamination from a router inside the SW-6 should be a bad idea. I like to have the noise "outside". We all have different rigs, as a fact. There is no "general cure". So, what's dead for me is probably...

Hi, Thanks. I want to have more burn in hours on the SW-6 before experimenting where cascading is one of the tricks that will be tested. In a couple of months or so, I think it is matured enough to give valid results. /Jan

I have only used the isolated RJ45 (Ethernet) port as input from the Asus router RT-AX86U configured a media bridge. So yes, Isolated port as source. SFP port not tested yet. I haven't tried any other way of using it yet. I want to more have hours of burn in on it before final testing and...

Hi guys, I have promised You to come back and say somethings about the LHY switches I know of. So here we go. I have a crazy revealing rig and something I usually have is depth, width and depth in the presentation of the sound. The SW-6 with all its theoretical benefits it is a pretty...

You are correct on the isolation transformers in the Mutec REF10. The BNC cable acts like an extension of the chassi. As long as the BNC cable is correctly inserted and locked in both ends, it is a fully shielded channel/tunnel for the signal carrying center cord. There is no floating going on...

I don't really know how to answer Your questions. I am not familiar with the EtherRegen or its electronic design. I am very well aware of though, that the EtherRegen's designer John Swenson is a very skilled guy. Well what I can say is that the SW-6 is a "neutral sounding" device. A network...

Yes, I have. I also have the SW-8. The SW-8 gives an exploded view. Very nice and big scenery. The SW-6 has the advantages with the native galvanic isolated ports. (1 x RJ45 and the SFP port). I bought the SW-6 because I can and am now feeding it with timepulse from my Mutec REF10 SE120. The...

I think You can do that. I am not the best "active speakers" guy here though I have some contacts among Finland's best manufacturers. I think a few guys here can give You a few good choices. If not. PM me and I will help You out. Have a nice evening/Jan

Hi, There are no stupid questions. The R28 works with "Line level". The Line level gears works between recording gears, mixers with lower level transfers. As You may see on the pictures and specs for the R28.. There are no speaker bindingposts, only RCA, XLR and mini XLR's (for ACSS) for...

Just a follow up. The SW-8 blows things up as an "exploded view" schematic of the sound scene. The SW-6 is probably more true. I have only had the SW-6 running/burned in for approx. 6hrs and it is nicely balanced already. I am running it with the Mutec REF10 SE120. The internal OC-clock will...
