Rate The Last Movie You Watched
Watched Clash Of The Titans and The Fighter last night with some friends - COTT was surprisingly enjoyable, nothing I would give an award to but not something I was counting down the minutes waiting for the end either; it held my attention, the special effects were pretty good, and the plot was...- Boneez

Marvel VS. Capcom 3
Quote: Yeah, but the mechanics of the previous two MvC's (and X Men vs SF if you will as well) were almost *identical* to SF - I mean, even in MvC2, where they eliminated and entire move set (medium punch/kick), the timing and everything else was totally copied from SF - you can play...- Boneez

how many of you guys cook???
Quote: No; it simmers for the 4-5 days with the lid on - chicken bones maybe only for a day, and vegetable stock usually only a few hours - but beef bones will benefit from the extra long simmering time. I mason jar it and reduce it afterwards depending on what it's getting used for.- Boneez

Post Photos Of Headphones You Dream Of One Day Owning
Plasmasonic 1 - the only (to my knowledge) plasma driver ever installed in a headphone: http://membres.multimania.fr/plasmapropulsion/Industrial_issues/Plasmasonic_fichiers/Whole_system.jpg It is probably the *hands down* rarest headphone in existence... apparently only a dozen were...- Boneez

^^^that looks tasty! I cook, mostly Italian and Asian food, but I diversify every now and again. Bought a pasta machine a while back and been having fun with that lately; I don't bother making my own fettuccine or spaghetti, but it's nice to be able to make your own stuffed pasta (the...- Boneez

Old Sennheiser HD-430 -- What gives?
They're ancient, 600 ohm monsters, and if you can drive them properly, they sound phenomenal - very detailed but very neutral at the same time. Bass is quite accurate and nicely extended but not very punchy (which is not necessarily a bad feature). My Quad 44 preamp has this nice output...- Boneez

Who equalizes their High-end Audio systems? And why or why not?
I EQ *very* seldomly, and when I do, it is for my home (read: speaker) setup - never for the headphones. My preamp may be old (see my avatar), but it comes with some of the most conservative yet intelligently-designed tone adjustments I have ever seen on any piece of audio gear ever, and (as...- Boneez

Who here is a high school audiophile?
started my path down the darkside when I asked for (and received) a pair of Sennheiser HD 455's for Christmas when I was 15 (also my only gift that year :P )... they lasted me a good four years (and probably would have longer if I took better care of them). One of the nicest sounding headphones...- Boneez

Instrumental music to go to sleep to
Brian Eno's ambient stuff is great to fall asleep to... Discreet Music (main track only) and Ambient 4: On Land work best IMO
