Smells like product placement to me.  When people hear I bought $270 headphones, they ask "Are they Dr. Dre's?"  I say no, those are overpriced due to marketing, like Bose stereos or Dyson vacuums.  Sometimes I get asked "Are they wireless?"  I shake my head.

Dream Theater is a great progressive band.  More metal than Rush, but you may like them.  They have a diverse sound.  I might suggest Metroplolis Pt II as a starting album.

I put this headphone stand together today with Unistrut, 1/2 inch hardware, and electrical parts. It has a very industrial look to it. I love playing all sorts of music through my K702s, but heavy metal and industrial is what this stand is all about. It probably weighs 25 pounds and if anchored...
