Audeze Mobius review / impressions
I thought I'd share my impressions of my Audeze Mobius. I've owned them for a month now. They replaced a Sennheiser PC 360 that was connected to an Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card. I agree that it sounds like the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 would fit your needs. There's a video review at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb_yqGGaf5Y that confirms it has a good quality microphone, which originated from one of Beyerdynamic's aviation headsets.- dewidaniels

Good Noise Isolating headphones?
I second the Audio Technica ATH-ANC7s. I was so impressed by mine that I bought a second pair for my wife. I've also heard the Goldring NS1000 (very nice) and the Bose QC3 (also very nice, but over-priced).- dewidaniels

Headset/Headphones + mic for ~50$
$50 isn't a lot to spend. Anything at that kind of price point is going to be pretty basic. How about the Creative HS800 Fatal1ty headset at £32.88 (just over $50) on amazon.co.uk?- dewidaniels
