    thanks for the help everyone, if the manufacturers wont help i will try to do it myself, if that doesnt work i guess im sending them out to zynonix to have that repaired, but ive talked to the owner and its very pricey compared to what my headphones are worth.

    ok good to know, thanks for the advice, i really dont know how to do any of that soldering stuff but im sure i can youtube it just not sure i want to go out and buy a sodering iron just for this, u think i can contact denon or audio technica and see if they can just replace the wires for me?

    dog just shredded both wires off the denon ah d2000s and my audio technica m50s, does anyone know if i can possibly get them fixed? the headphones are both intact on both pairs, just wondering if its possible to get new wires put on or if there is any other solution than to buy new pairs, my own...

    got the denons they are awesome even without an amp, gonna get that e7 shipped asap. didnt realize the denon wouldnt plug right into my iphone, it will with that adapter, right?

    heard the m-40s are no where near as good as the m-50, like its not even close, save up for the m50s.

    just ordered the d2000's for 195 no shipping, and the m50 for 120 (back ordered), both pairs are going to be my first high quality headphone, i plan on using the denon for home use and the m50 for on the go. can anyone suggest an amp to go with the d2000 im very new here so i dont know much...
