Why are brands like Beats and skullcandy so popular and widely regarded as the "best" headphones?
Monster and skull candy are clever marketeers with a pot of cash! Celebrity endorsement and wide product placement has enabled them to get a stranglehold on the 'fashion' Market. If you're looking for affordable, then WESC, Aerial 7 and Urbanz are probably your best bet. All can be found from £20 - £70 on either eBay, chemical, amazon or even on their sites. Urbanz Block (free with Q40 cable!)
For £30 the Urbanz are very good value. I use Technics RP-DJ 1210, WESC bagpipes and have trialled a pair of Urbanz Blocks.
