    Skip A900, sound very rough, unrefine, thin and not full body but very clear as compare to beyer dt990.... I have these 2 and now I only use dt990 :)

    Till u use a proper headphone amp, it will go from sound good to sound excellent... I use it on my ipod mini then add a simple diy cmoy amp, it really open up the sound with better texture and smoothness... :)

    I got a reply from beyerdynamic germany, they mentioned that for 32 and 600 ohm version, there will be marking on the plug and the boxes. And for 250ohm version, it will not have any marking on the plug and the boxes..... So I think this has cleared the doubts regarding the ohm version....

    The plug doesn't show any marking also.... However, I measured and it show 255 & 253 ohm... So finally I can confirm it is indeed 250ohm version. Even the boxes doesn't show anything...   Some of the comments I read about dt990/250 were not very nice, like treble too shrill, bass bloated...

    PA2V2 Problems

    voltage is not a problem, pa2v2 is using LM4881 amp chip which can handle up to 5.5v... I will be modding my unit to 4.8v to handle high impedence headphone... cheers...
