    Lol. The main prosthetics are similar but The Shure's actually did it right. and they cost <half of what the beats do.

    I'd go with the M50's just cuz i heard they have a bit more detail and definitely more bass than the shures. also you may want to look into the Shure SRH750DJ's. They are supposedly very similar to the beats except more bass.
