ehh, i still would like to see if applying heatshrink would work, just because i have some heatshrink lying around in the house right now. the adapter seems nice though.

earphones for me generally last me around 2-3 months, then one ear shorts out. ive been wondering if putting heatshrink over the jack (to provide some strain relief) would prolong the life of my earphones? because i cant afford to buy earphones every 2 months. thanks in advance.

its always in my pocket. thats why i aim for straight plugs, with the L-shaped plugs, the cable is bent when in my pocket, which i thinks gives it more stress. im also aiming for those cables with that clear heatshrink, like the ones meelec has.

im an avid gamer, and my plantronics set just broke down on me after a year of use. i need a comfortable gaming headset with a mic that isnt too expensive, maybe around $30 or under, because i dont need the expensive sets.

ive done a litle bit more research on the multi IEM comparision thing on head-fi, and im also eying the elago e3. most reviews say they have a boomy, rich basss, with ok vocals, and somewhat decent build quality.

ok so you would say the logics are the boomiest bass-heavy IEMs, right? im thinking about getting those over the tonics and another pair of one of my favorite budget IEMs, the radius atomic bass.

wow thanks a bunch, bro. i actually found out that my dad has some meelectronics m9, and he gave em to me, and wow, the sound is super clear, at least better than what i expected.

im leaning towards the marqii, ill ask em for my birthday, ive heard the sound quality is superior to the giiq. i guess this will be my first baby step to those beats by dre studio ive been craving for since i was born.

oh, i never said the jvcs were audiophile quality... i have roughly $250 right now, but im really not gonna drop heavy cash like the beats by dre or shures have on their price tags, just something that'll give me some comfortability and some good bass until i can have the sony piiq marqii for...

yea, but seeing how suckish my rocketfish rf knj2 or somethin was, im pretty sure the marshmallows at the same price will be better.  also, the radius atomic bass 2 is a really good bang for your buck, not really for audiophiles, but for big bass cravers.
