As for bass-wise, you might want to drop beyer 770pro, which is supposed to be fairly flat. Go for pro900, burn them in and enjoy the awesome bass!

I should say that Bose AE2 is not too bad. Actually, it's pretty good. Once I owned denon 1100 and Bose ae2 at the same time. As for SQ-wise, I should take denon 1100 over AE2. But, I wouldn't say Bose AE2 is nowhere near the Denon1100. Plus, it's extremely comfortable.   So, I think either...

I think I will try these leather year pad sooner or later. I live in Korea and contacted the ex-official distributor of Ultrasone. They said they did have the leather pad (for 650 though)in stock. I will give it a shot. I guess I will distort the sound signature since the heavy but quality bass...

    It's just silver-plated copper cable with a Pailiccs and a Sennheiser plug. It's just perfect for the portable use!  Silver cable is just too much for me. I would never go for it.( Again, my gf and likely my future wife...k) I assume it is also stiffer than the silver plated copper...
