Audio Technica A-900 replacement parts
Hi guys. Got a hopefully simple question for all the AT experts out there. I've got a pair of A-900's that have been going strong for some time. Problem is, the pads are getting a bit beat up and the cord keeps on getting kinked on me. Is it possible to replace the cord andor pads with...- clarkkent333

Zen Nano Plus
Really, well that sucks. I just picked it up and the damn thing is so small. I thought the screen would be a plus but its so tiny I don't know how I'll even be able to see it. I remember the N200 was bigger than this. Can't decide if I should keep this or my 1GB shuffle. I haven't opened either...- clarkkent333

Zen Nano Plus
Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this player yet? I know its a rebadge of the N200 but I'm wondering if they fixed the small quirks like the battery door and usb cover. For anyone that's interested the 1GB is on sale for $100 after rebate at circuitcity.com now...- clarkkent333

Finally ready to take the plunge - comfort>price>sound - Recommendations?
Well I tried my 497's back on today just for kicks and it feels like I've been flying for 10 hours. There's too much pressure on my head. Also the pads are just the wrong size for my ears. They're too small to fit around my ears and too big to feel comfortable.- clarkkent333

Maybe my fears are unfounded but its very difficult to put faith into a product manufacturer that has had so many problems with its products (even if they fixed service, all of the current models have had a myriad of problems, and they aren't with just the old models either. Check out Amazon or...- clarkkent333

Like I said in the previous post, Im not going any where near RIO. I refuse to buy from a company that only offers a 90 day warranty on all its products and produces generally sub standard quality items.- clarkkent333

They make a 2GB Mini? She's not that savvy with the tech. Still has problems programming the tivo I got her last year. Im definately staying away from RIO with their crappy service and 90 day warranty.- clarkkent333

This one is pretty straight forward. Its my aunt, and she is a total noob, not to mention getting over the hill already. Also the whole thing needs to be user friendly, not just using the player. I was thinking that this pretty much eliminates iRiver since their stuff usually takes a while to...- clarkkent333

I forgot to mention that I also do some moderate gaming. Don't know if that affects the recommendations but it should be noted.- clarkkent333

Sorry I should have clarified this before. The reason I mentioned that Im in an apartment is because my roomate is a light sleeper and his bedroom shares the same wall as mine. Kind of inconvenient but its a great place at a great price. I know the 497's are open, and they're become too leaky at...- clarkkent333

Well I could go with open as long as the leakage isn't too bad. Can't be like the Grado's. I mostly care about comfort and staying within my budget. Under $100 would be preferable but if it comes to it I'd spring for the A500's.- clarkkent333

Ok boys and girls Im finally dipping my toe in the high end headphone market. My current set of Sennheiser HD497's have become extremely uncofortable as they put too much presure around my head and don't fit my ears very well. Im looking for a new set around $100 or less that have more comfort...- clarkkent333

Pccket PC for Music
Well if you wanted to use it for any serious length of time you'd have to get the 2200mah battery. That should provide about 8 hours of use. I know this thing accepts microdrives. Why not go for a 4gb on fleabay?- clarkkent333

Pccket PC for Music
I think Im going to go this route when I get my Dell Axim X50v. Its got CF and SD so you could get 3GB for about $150. Plus its got that sweet VGA screen. I saw one in person the other day and I was just floored at how clear the screen looks. It really puts 320x240 to shame. Anyone know how...- clarkkent333

Jens of Sweden MP-120 - Im officially emigrating
Anyone else seen this thing. Im seriously considering flying over to Sweeden just to pick one up. It puts my Shuffle to shame. It even recommends the E2C's on the website. I mean come on, how can you not love that? Anyone know how to get one in the US? Im willing to trade a vital organ...- clarkkent333

Nice. I especially like the part about the pinto. I think Im going to go for it. At this price its hard to pass up. I mean I can get a 1GB SD card for around $60 and then Ill have a 1.128GB player for $100. Can't go wrong with that.- clarkkent333
