If I bought a splitter to connect to the headphone jack (so da wife and myself can listen together), would this work? Does anyone know how the output specs would change? Power, impedance etc? With and without the jumpers installed? I'm looking at driving 2 HE560s. Thanks

I ordered one through the Massdrop deal. Supposed to arrive Wed. My comparisons will be against my Emotiva XDA-1, my super cheap but clean measuring Fiio Taishan, and my ancient California Audio Labs Sigma. We shall see.

I didn't even find it neutral. I thought it was poor. Just mho. Maybe I'll get a magnifying glass to revisit the stock tube. Whew! That tube rolling thread is long!

Anywho.....my Vali 2 arrived yesterday and upon first launch I was quite underwhelmed. Treble was kinda weird, bass was lacking on HiFiMan 560 and AKG K7xx. Things sounded dull. I couldn't see ANY text or info on the stock tube at all. Nada. I've read here about several people who were pleased...

Absolutely. Much lower output impedance in the Vali 2 as well. But the LD looks cooler.     Edited to add:  Maybe it looks hotter as the LD has four valves.

Arrived yesterday and all is good.  No hiss, noise, crackles, or distortion.  The Galaxy S7 using Neutron MP into PA2V2 with 770s is a winner. Just like my Cubbies.  And I didn't have to wait for 108 years for the PA2V2.

Just ordered one five minutes ago.   I'll be trying this out with a Galaxy Edge 7 and  80 ohm DT 770s.

Does anyone know the LD MKIII headphone output impedance?  I posted this question on the LD forum and have received zero replies.  TIA.

Woo Hoo! I still have my Kef Corelli's from 1981. I worked in a stereo shop outside of Chicago and got them for $330. That would be like $820 today!
