I recently tried my friend's SE 535. I've read reviews saying that the 535 is much better than the W4, and I ask.. How so?.. I could not hear how it was better. Everything's so muffled compared to the W4.

Over the ear actually reduces microphonics. Not that ES2 cables have that problem anyway. Next best would be the IE8 or the new IE80? The fit is bad though, and there's very little isolation compared to Westone 4 or otherwise.
