Help me find the right IEM's for me, please, if you wouldn't mind.

So then, everyone here thinks the best IEM under $100 is the GR06's? Seeing as no one else can recommend or suggest any others.

Well I really wish I could, but it looks like the gr07s might have to be a future upgrade. I'll probably be getting the gr06s, but does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Help me find the right IEM's for me, please, if you wouldn't mind.

So basically I'm looking for a new pair of headphones, and have been for quite awhile now. My biggest crutch is the fact that I don't have the means to actually listen to many IEM's, just some cheep ones from the store, and the MEE M21's (Too big, uncomfortable, and have a horrible cord. Also...

Tryin' to find a pair of IEM's for me.

So I have been looking around and looking at many of the multi IEM reviews, but I still can never come to a decision. One big reason why I can't is because I always see people fall back to, "There is no best IEM, it just depends on what the person is looking for."    So I'm here to ask for...

    DT880's squeaking.

So i bought some DT880's, and I'm super happy with them so far. The only thing thats worrying me is that in pretty much every song i listen to, whenever there is a strong bass hit (Electronic or Bass drum) I can hear a squeaking before the hit. Its almost unnoticeable, but i tend to notice the...

Help me choose some of my first real cans, if you would be so kind!

Well, i bit it and bought the DT880's, seeing as the price was very reasonable in my opinion! $205 for them ain't bad in my opinion!   Heard it has a great soundstage, and the overall sound is quite amazing!   Thank you once again for all the help everyone!

Help me choose some of my first real cans, if you would be so kind!

The price difference is about 40-70 USD depending on where its purchased. I guess ill just have to think about it. The reason i have kinda got my heart set on the Beyer's is because ill also be using them for gaming, and i heard the 880's are secondly recommended to the AD700's. I don't know...

Help me choose some of my first real cans, if you would be so kind!

Okay, so I've kinda got my heart set on some Beyer's, but now my only problem is the DT770's vs the DT880's. Im debating because i know the 880's sound better, but should i get the 770's first, and maybe get the 880's later on. But then again, if i can get the 880's now, then why not? Does...

    Before you were an Audiophile...

Its very interesting to hear everyone's story's! Keep them up!   My parent's aren't into the whole music thing either, but my father did and does play the guitar. Which did get me into music at a young age, and been playing the drums for about 6-7 years now. I just can't wait to get my setup...

I was kinda in the same boat as you are in, except i wasn't exactly looking for one specifically for electronica, was just looking for a pair of close cans and a soundcard. Im still tryin' to decide between the DT770's and the DT880's in the 250ohm versions. Then, im going to be buying a Xonar...

    Before you were an Audiophile...

Before you really got into truly listening to music, and just used and iPod and a pair of $50 headphones, did you often find yourself imagining what your music COULD sound like?    Also, what led you into becoming an Audiophile?   I currently use my iPod with a pair of $50 headphones and...

Thought i might run this by you all and see what you thought!

So if i went and got the Xonar ST, iBasso D2 or D4, and the Beyerdynamic DT770's, would that be good? Or would the iBasso not be able to power the DT770's.   Or should i go for the DT990's and get an Amp that would help out with the lows?   Also, what portable amp would be good if i...

Hmmmm, i just searched around and found a few threads that said they would be fine, but others that where saying no. Why is this so confusing! Would it be a good idea to grab an Open Box version of the ST for ~120 or so and then grab an iBasso D2 or D4? Was plannin' on gettin it in the future...

Oh sorry, i was thinkin' about the 250ohm version. He said all i had to do was go to a setting in the card and punch in the Impedance of the headphones and it should work fine.

Thanks for the reply! I dont know, because to be honest i had a pair of Panasonic vintage type closed headphones and i liked them better than the Sennheisers im using right now, to me they dont sound very "big" soundstage wise.    Anyone else have anything to say? Im all ears!

So i was thinkin' about buyin' the Xonar ST, and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770's. Coming from Onboard sounds and a pair of Sennheiser .   Will i be happy? (I'm assuming obviously) Would you recommend anything else? Budget is ~350-400 USD.   I like the idea of the closed DT770's, but i...
