The Stax Thread III
Sorry if I'm barging in on this thread, but does anyone here know where to buy replacement earcup hanger for the SR-L500? They only seem to sell the entire headband assembly but I just need one of the earcup holders.- 159650

Thanks tigon_ridge! Actually found the exact part on electromod. The price of shoe goo is insane where I am so it made more sense to buy the part instead. Thank god.- 159650

The Stax Thread III
Hello, long time member here. I have owned a lot of headphones at this point, IEMs, CIEMs and such. But only now have I finally had the chance to purchase a pair of STAX headphones. I got the SR-L500/SRM-323s combo used for a price too good to pass up. I have to say that they pair have been...- 159650

Haha cute. I put them up for 320 plus ship. They're too new. I have the Fostex THX00 so I don't need the D5K. Just redundant.- 159650

no, just looking to clear some room. I'm not that active anymore and have actually sold around 70% of my collection. The last thing I did was trade in my CustomArt Music Two for the FIBAE3 and order the new Audeze Mobius. Really want a pair from Noble Audio as Massdrop has been having nice...- 159650

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
Hey guys. So I have a pair of utter stock, near pristine D5000 will less than 50 hours and am looking to sell. Can anyone tell me how much they're worth these days? The pads are original and perfect as well. Really small scratch (3mm) in the cup hanger that's hardly noticeable. Wood is perfect.- 159650

Custom Art – Music Two – Appreciation/Discussion/Impressions/Review Thread
I think you should get with detachable cables. Although take note that the cable connection on the earphones can break as well so handle with care. As for the performance of the M2, they won't be obsolete any time soon I bet. They're awesome.- 159650

Light Harmonic Geek Out EM/1000 Impressions Thread
Congrats on the new setup. It's a fine starter setup. I have the E9/E17 combo but I personally think that the GO1K I have beats the combo by a fairly large margin. The Fiio setup however is much more versatile and friendly to use.- 159650

Custom Art Music Two CIEM Review
Piotr, I still don't know how you managed to do it. The M2 are so good that they pretty much leave all other IEMs that I've owned in the dust. Doesn't matter if they are dual or triple driver models. The M2 are just so sublime. In fact, I think that you may have made the M2 a bit too good. I...- 159650

[TEASER] Massdrop x ??? - New Custom In-Ear Monitor available September
I really love mine... but.... I kinda love my Music Two just a bit more. Not because they sound particularly better but because they just sound so enjoyable and are definitely the more comfortable pair. Otherwise, when I really wanna be treated to something special, the Ei.XX. But for long...- 159650

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Don't feel bad. Lol I have the highly rated A83. And guess what? I hate them. I hate that peaky treble region so much that I don't care how nice people say they are. I can't take it. I have owned them for a year and thought that they must be a defective pair. Sent them back for 20 bucks plus...- 159650

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
I tried them briefly. I think they're way too different to be comparable. The FX850 are warm (very), thick, rich and bassy; almost the complete opposite of the TF10. I did find them to be good though, and would love to own a pair. But I wouldn't be able to say with certainty that they're an...- 159650

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Honestly, I'm just as surprised as you are. I wasn't expecting the M2 to outperform the TF10 since they are a dual driver model. Part of me didn't really wanna believe it either; but in the end I had to concede it to the M2. The thing is, it may really have come down to the quality of seal and...- 159650

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Also o0ADAM0o. If you still need a cable recommendation, consider the Linum BAX cables, or the Linum MUSIC. I have the former and consider them to be the best cables hands down when it comes to comfort. Can't comment on durability or SQ changes (except that then sound fine to me). But they are...- 159650

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Sorry, didn't mean to sound like the TF10 are completely obsolete. Cause they're not. I was listening to them last night and still felt that they perform exceptionally well. The thing is, the first and most immediate comparison that came to my mind was the TF10 when I auditioned the Music Two...- 159650

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Easy. Custom Art Music Two. Dual driver CIEM. With current conversion it's a pretty good price, plus it's a silicone CIEM. Way better in comfort and isolation and I own both acrylic and silicone. The M2 are amazing, and easily bests the TFI10 on all counts. Sorry TFI10... But it's true - Bass...- 159650

Should have asked around a bit more in my opinion. The Xuelin players are indeed great. They have very low noise floor and impressive output. After a year of owning my 770, I like it enough to say that it was indeed a good purchase. But not enough for me to go back to Xuelin for another player...- 159650
