i would say they are real. the markup in retail stores is HUGE. i ordered sony mdr-v6 and v900 for $25 each free shipping from china   sell for 150-200 here. let's be honest they only cost a dollar or so to make in china, so they are still making money, a retailer here has to pay rent...
