Planned a long time for my Stax SR3. This is a dual mono 0dB 15W class A amp.. A variation of Pass Zen V5 and famous Japan design 'Kubota' 0dB MOSFET power amp.. Internal view with one channel removed. A trial with my friend's K1000 Cheers !!

Hmmmmmm, ignore the idea of a buffer, how about by adding a simple head amp. circuit like BB2134 or 2604 (like CMoy) with fixed input value right after the pre. amp. out ?

That's why I am NOT willing just to add a simple 'Y' connection to HP directly. All I am questioning is try to found the possibilities of adding a 'buffer' right after the 'Y' which should be low impedance enough to drive the HP.......... ~_~

I am not sure whether it is worth or not. But I bought mine at price around US$110. I did compared it with AKG271S which is a very high detail design while the U585 is keen on musical and rich texture in HF. Just my 2 cent. Any other U585 user ?
