I'm looking to upgrade to a new pair of heaphones and was looking for advice.    My only headphones are the JVC HA-RX700's which I think are great but I'm not sure how you would categorize these and that's making it difficult to pick the characteristics of any new cans . Are these JVC's...

How do these work?   I extracted the archive and placed the whole thing into the plugins folder for winamp (and VLC) and it doesn't show up in either.   What exactly are you meant to do with them?
