Just curious, how would one describe the Shure sounds..? Alot of the reviews says that the Shure 535 had the "Shure Housesound" but didnt really explain what it means... i never sampled Shure's before so i have no idea how they sound like. I would only consider this cause my good friend has...

How does the sound compare to the HD 555s? I wasnt too satisfied with the S4's cause i felt they were too bass-oriented and the vocals were kinda bad... 

Newbie Here, So please dont rage at me :)   So i have a good offer for a pair of new Shure 535's for around $200. I havent had any time to sample them extensively but do you think it is worth the money? I own a pair of Klipsh S4 for portable use and Sennheiser HD555 Plugged into an Asus...

So running it with an amp helps huh... to late now :P bought my klipsch already and i dont regret it at all.

I say i have to agree with the S4 have too much bass, however describing it as muddy is a clear overstatement in my opinon. I dont really know how to describe my impression on the MC5, i just disliked it the instant i listened to it. I guess to each its own

Am i the only one here that thinks the MC5 seems very lacking atleast compared to the Klipsch S4
