i go to  high-school in North Carolina and have noticed that at my school scull candy's are getting less popular and sennheiser's are getting use a lot more. but i still haven't seen any grados or AKGs being used by non-head-fiers.

i got some hf-2's coming from todd the vinyl junkie. i ordered almost a month ago does he usually take this long or should i be concerned about getting them?

can the grado hf2 run without an amp?

can grados be taken out in public or would they be well heard by everyone around you? in other words can i take them to school or should i get some closed ones?

im plaining to get some grado hf-2's. i was wondering if i don't like them how much would the resale value be?

i'm looking at the hf-2's and the rs2's. my main music is punk-ska; reggae; and classic rock. i need to be able to use it with my vinyl, CDs and ipod. which ones should i get? also does either one come with a wood box?
