    Cowon J3 Impressions Thread

Quote:   This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm sold.   When I bought my MTPGs and used them with my iPod, I ran into the same thing: I was hearing things in my music I've never heard before. It's all kinds of exciting to go back through all my old CDs and effectively rediscover...

    Portland Oregon Meet, Summer 2010

I can bring my portable gear (the stuff in my profile), but it's all fairly standard (ipod 160gig with mostly alac songs, Fiio E5, MTPG). I do have extra tips for my MTPGs that I'm not using if people want to try stuff out.   My future mother-in-law is supposed to be giving me some crazy...

I'd like to go as well. I've been reading head-fi off and on for the last couple of months (just joined today!), and it'd be awesome to meet some of you guys in person.

Are you happy using headphones "unamped"?

Just the other day I was at work and my amp died, so I had to switch to using only my earbuds. My 6th gen ipod just didn't sound the same without it. It was one of those 'now that I know the truth' scenarios. While I'm still able to listen to it unamped, it'll never be quite the same...
