DAC(found) + Speakers for new iMac...
The guy who sold me the MS-2i's almost had me taking the MS pros home... but I took one look at the price tag and died a little on the inside. Still I can hardly complain about the quality of the MS-2's and the Duet. after about 10ish hours of burn in I can already tell that these headphones are...- astroboi

Native Mac MPD Clients
Theremin is a perfectly good MPD client, any others have either been phased out due to their PPC only support or were just crap. I use Theremin a lot on my Mac and the only thing that annoys me about it is the fact that it isn't quite as responsive as I would like sometimes.- astroboi

So I was hoping considering my usage you may be able to make my decision a little easier. My choices are...- astroboi

DAC(found) + Speakers for new iMac...
I have no real interest in surround sound simulation, I had a X-Fi Xtreme audio card in my previous computer, but never really liked the CMSS-3D stuff as it seemed like a waste of time... I was looking at that X-Fi USB card but thought there may be other possibilities my small knowledge of...- astroboi

DAC(found) + Speakers for new iMac...
Hey guys, Recently purchased a 27" iMac and am now in the market for a USB (or otherwise) sound card that I can run from the machine to my headphones/speakers (group environment some of the time). Main usage is listening to music (WIDE variety of music but a focus on older classic...- astroboi
