I agree with the above poster. I never really liked portable setups until I purchased the Clip+ (cost a little less than 40 euro on eBay UK). It fits perfectly in my HiFiMAN RE400 carrying case so my setup is always with me. Running Rockbox of course.

Pretty much everybody agrees that 0.99 is the worst firmware. 0.90 or A.10 are the only ones I'd recommend. They're first and last, respectively.

I've been using the integrated headphone amplifier for two weeks with HD800 and I still have absolutely no urge to get an external amp even though I could.

HD800 > K701 > HD650 > HD555.

I haven't heard the Grace but the specs will be more than enough.   Can't you audition it before pulling the trigger? That's the only way to really tell if you like it.

I'm totally content with just HD800. I used to have a few but most of them just sat there gathering dust.

Got my HD800 w/ Cardas cable yesterday. These are the first headphones that didn't wow me at the first listen. It's hard to describe, but these phones make me feel that I'm listening to the music, not the headphones. Needless to say, I'm loving them.

CAVE and LS-32 addict reporting in. I play all the ports released for Japanese Xbox 360.   I got started with various Touhou games but scoring in them seriously sucks and ZUN's games are pretty much the same every time.

Whatever you get, afterwards you'll think that you should've gotten something else. Such is life.
