On a serious note, the way the Monster Silicon tips fit and sound for me on the SM3, I don't need customs.  I get an oustanding seal with these and unbelievable sound!  It is amazing to me how different the tips make this IEM sound.

Owning both the SE530 and the SM3, I would definately say the SM3 is superior.  Although the SE530 is still a great IEM.  Of course that's just me everybody has their own flavor.

No not the monster super tips they did not work for me.  Im just talking about the regular silcone ones.

Yeah nothing else worked for me from the monster tips except the silicones (Im using the medium) and once I tried those out it changed the SM3 so much Im shocked!!!  Not saying I didn't love it before but dam the monster silicone tips really made a huge difference!

Forgive me cause im a newbie here too but, DTme I'm using the shure olive medium and large tips and both give me a pretty good seal.  Of course everybody's ear canals are different.

Ok guys went and picked the SM3 from the post office.  Ok my early impressions are unbeleivable.  I already like these better than my Shure 530's and MPC.  Absolutley, amazing I will give a better very AMATUER review later.  Thanks everybody on this forum for letting me know about these beauties!

Congratulations, I too just ordered a pair of SM3's yesterday.  I heard so many good things about the SM3 I could not resist. I also own the Shure 530's and MPC these are also great IEM's!
