Best Wireless Gaming Headset for under $300?
I'm currently using A50s for the same reason, because they're wireless. So far it has been great for me. SQ is acceptable, but obviously not worth 300$. I'd never listen to music on this, but it does gaming very well. Battery life is about 6-7 hours for me- Jackquelegs

AKG Q701 vs Astro A50
Astros sound decent, but not 300$ decent (probably around 150$). I have a pair of them, and the only reason I have them is due to the fact that it's wireless. They'll definitely sound "fuller" than the Q701s, but won't compete in terms of overall quality.- Jackquelegs

jvc fxt90 vs top monster or shure offerings
Quote: Yep the only reason why I retired my EX1000s temporarily is due to the wind noise. Otherwise they almost disappear once you put them on.- Jackquelegs

jvc fxt90 vs top monster or shure offerings
I don't miss my MTPCs now that I have the fxt90. Even my beloved EX1000s are going back into the box. Cheap enough to be an everyday IEM, and sounds good enough for it not to be a compromise.- Jackquelegs

IEM Collecting: What Characteristics Do You Look for in an IEM to Add It to Your Collection?
Do you only purchase IEMs with your preferred sound signature of choice (warm, cold, neutral, v-shaped, etc.)? -No I prefer to have each of my IEMs to be unique in their signatures. Do you only purchase IEMs with various sound signatures to have a variety in your collection? -Yes Do you...- Jackquelegs

In the process of reducing your chances of going bankrupt, I'm sure this review has increased the chance of many others like myself of going bankrupt This has been on my purchase list for some time now. Sort of split between buying this or a pair of spanking K701s- Jackquelegs

why do people highly rate the shure srh840?
Quote: Exactly. As so many other people have already told you in the other thread you created pretty much on the same subject. I think the 225i's are pretty good for someone on a budget as well. BUT, considering that he thinks the 840s are harsh, I can't imagine what the grado sound...- Jackquelegs

For me it's true, because my first pair of IEMs was the Shure e2c. Every time I go back to listening to those, not sure if it's nostalgia, but they sound absolutely perfect every time.- Jackquelegs
