Beatles fan needs new IEM's - Klipsch S4 or Etymotic MC5
Thanks everyone! I just placed an order for the MC5's - got them new under $60 and so the price difference definitely helped make the choice ( 25% cheaper). Having never owned the 'accurate and detailed' kind of earphones, i'm looking fwd to these and comparing them with M50 sound (seems like...- crossroads69

Beatles fan needs new IEM's - Klipsch S4 or Etymotic MC5
Being a newbie and having limited headphone exposure (stock Apple phones, Sennheiser CX300 and my newish Audio Technica ATH-M50), it's hard to understand the difference between 'fun colored' sound and 'detailed accurate' sound that has been described for the two contenders. Can anyone...- crossroads69

Beatles fan needs new IEM's - Klipsch S4 or Etymotic MC5
Thanks for the reply, Scannon18. I see your point about not using them at the gym and avoiding the sweat/dirt. Unfortunately, I need music in the gym and the good isolation of the S4 will definitely come in handy in that noisy environment (multiple treadmills, TV's, etc.). Good to hear that...- crossroads69

Beatles fan needs new IEM's - Klipsch S4 or Etymotic MC5
Hi All, I'm in need for new pair of IEM for use at the office, the gym and on flights. I used to own a Sennheiser CX300 (which I recently lost) and want to upgrade to a better sound. Home Set-up I either use my Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones through a Nuforce uDAC or Athena...- crossroads69

Help deciding between Sennheiser HD448, Denon AH-D1001 & Audio Technica ATH-M50
Based on current prices on the web, I can get the Senn's for $99, Denon AH-D1001 for $149 (the older version AH-D1000 for $99) & the Audio Technica's for around $110-120. I'm having second thoughts about the Audio Technica's given the length of the cable which could lead to portability...- crossroads69

Help deciding between Sennheiser HD448, Denon AH-D1001 & Audio Technica ATH-M50
Hello everyone, I am a new member and looking for advice for set of closed cans (moving up from my stock Apple earbuds). I'm currently stuck between the Sennheiser HD448, the Denon AH-D1001 & Audio Technica ATH-M50. I'm a big Beatles fan but also listen to lot of other classic bands like Led...- crossroads69
