Storage Boxes or Hard Cases for CDs in Jazzloft Sleeves?

So I just converted around 600+ CDs into Jazzloft sleeves. These are going to be packed for moving, but after I get unpacked at my new place I'm going to need a storage solution for them. I'd rather not deal with shelving since there is a good chance I will be moving again in 3 months or so.  ...

    Death metal drummer.

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f103/u...uality-483388/ Don't drummers often wear full size headphones in the studio while recording? There must be some that would stay on reasonably well. I wonder what most metal/rock drummers use? I've seen many bands where the drummer wasn't using any...

    Death metal drummer.

I'm not a drummer, but judging by the drummers I've seen at live gigs (include death metal) I'd be a little leery of using IEMs for monitors unless they are some specially made, extra durable type. Most IEMs have cords that are thin and somewhat fragile. I can't imagine they would hold up to...

Sennheiser CX400 problem - muffled sound in one ear

Update: Senn is sending out a pair of CX400 mkIIs as a replacement for me. The cable looks the same as the old 400s. Do these also have the same microphonics problem that those did? Also, I see that they have a slide volume control. Not a fan of these. What setting do you recommend for...

    Suggestions for cheap headband headphone?

Are there any cheap ($20 or less) decent sounding headphones that have a lightweight earpad design with a headband? I mean something like this, not in ear or earbud style headphones: Amazon.com: Sony Open-air Stereo Headphones (MDR-110LP): Electronics They're not for me. I already know...

    Good IEM for 40$

I'd avoid the Senns if you care at all about cable noise. If you plan to do any type of physical activity with them, the microphonics make them extremely annoying. I'm very happy with the MEE m6 I just got, no problems with cable noise at all. No experience with the others.

    Best 40-60$ IEM?

You don't need an amp for the m6, though I'm sure one wouldn't hurt. I used an Ipod mini with mine, and there is enough power out of the headphone jack to damage your ears if you turn it up too loud. I don't listen to dubstep, but I do listen to hip hop and techno (real techno, not trance crap)...

    Best 40-60$ IEM?

I'm certainly no expert here, but I did use a pair of CX400s for almost a year before they went out on me. I was pretty happy with the sound, but the cord sucked because it was poorly shielded - lots of microphonics. I just got the new M6 today, and I'm very impressed after only a couple...

Sennheiser CX400 problem - muffled sound in one ear

Bought these almost a year ago and today they started giving me problems. The left ear has very muffled sound now. There is sound coming out of it, but it's mostly low end with hardly any high end and mid sounds. I tried jiggling the wire but that didn't do anything. Is there any way to fix...
